Privacy policy

This policy explains how Wattli GmbH processes personal data in connection with the website watt.li. Swiss data protection law (revised FADP / revDSG) applies.

In short: this website sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, runs no analytics and embeds nothing from third parties. Every file it loads — including the fonts — comes from our own server. The only personal data processed is what your browser necessarily sends to the hosting provider in order to load the page, plus whatever you choose to write to us by e-mail.

For all matters concerning data protection on this website, please write to the address above.

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, on its global content delivery infrastructure. When you open a page, your browser necessarily transmits technical connection data that the provider processes in server logs — in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser type and operating system.

This processing is necessary to deliver the website and to keep it stable and secure. The logs are kept only for a short period and are not merged with other data sources.

Transfer abroad: because Vercel Inc. is a US company operating a global network, this connection data may be processed outside Switzerland, including in the United States. The transfer takes place on the basis of a data processing agreement with the provider incorporating the EU standard contractual clauses with the Swiss addendum. Please note that the level of data protection in the countries concerned may not correspond to that in Switzerland.

3. No analytics, no tracking, no cookies

This website uses no web analytics, no advertising technology, no social media plug-ins, no embedded videos or maps, and no consent banner — because there is nothing to consent to. No cookies are set, and nothing is written to your browser's local or session storage.

Web fonts are stored on our own server and delivered from it. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any comparable service, so no data about your visit reaches a font provider.

4. Contacting us

This website has no contact form. If you write to info@watt.li, we process the data contained in your message — typically your name, e-mail address and whatever you tell us — in order to answer it and, where a business relationship follows, to carry it out.

Correspondence is retained for as long as is necessary for the matter concerned and for as long as statutory retention periods require. Please note that e-mail is not an inherently secure channel; if a matter is confidential, say so and we will agree another route.

5. Disclosure to third parties

Personal data is not sold and is not passed on for advertising purposes. It is disclosed only to service providers that process it on our behalf and under contract — currently the hosting provider named above and the provider of our e-mail service — or where we are legally obliged to disclose it.

6. Your rights

Under Swiss data protection law you have the right to obtain information about the personal data we process about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, and to request its deletion where no legal ground requires us to keep it. You may also request that data you have provided be handed over or transferred in a common electronic format.

To exercise these rights, write to info@watt.li. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may be amended to reflect changes to the website or to the law. The version published here at the time of your visit applies.
